Alto "Knox" Dansby
Mr. Alto “Knox” Dansby, age 85, of Brundidge died Thursday, October 23, 2008 at Troy Health and Rehab Center in Troy. Funeral services for Mr. Dansby will be Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Richland Baptist Church in Brundidge with Brother Kenneth Andrews and Brother Bo Weed officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, October 24, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home, 131 S.A. Graham Blvd. in Brundidge.
Burial will follow at Richland Baptist Cemetery with Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Dansby is survived by his wife, Mabel Dansby of Brundidge; one son and daughter-in-law, Donald Lee and Jo Dansby of Brundidge; two grandchildren, Jessi Dansby of Brundidge and Casey and Robyn Dansby of Troy; five great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Annie Ray and Comer Williams of the Springhill Community; two sisters-in-law, Sylvia Dansby and Lois Dansby both of Brundidge and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Dansby was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Barbara (Miss Bob) Dansby and three brothers, William, James and Otis Dansby all of Brundidge.

Knox was a wonderful man that was loved by a wonderful woman. I am praying for mabel and the family.

I am sorry for your loss. He was a good man and I will never forget what a wonderful neighbor he was.
