Patriots shut out Fort Dale 14-0

The Pike Liberal Patriots baseball team shut down the Fort Dale Academy Eagles 14-0 in a game that lasted five innings. Will Starling, the starting pitcher, pitched a no hitter game and gave up only one walk.
Ross Hixon came in as relief at the end of the game and also pitched a no-hitter game. The Patriots were set to play Taylor Road Saturday, but Taylor Road forfeited the game. Pike Lib will play host to the first round of the AISA baseball playoffs on Friday.
