Eagles invade Uniontown for region matchup with Hatch
Published Thursday, October 2, 2008
A win in the game against R.C. Hatch tonight in Uniontown would give the Goshen Eagles a winning streak and an even record in the region.
Hatch comes in with a 3-2 record overall and a 2-1 record in the region.
The Eagles are flying high after a huge 51-26 win over the rival Pike County Bulldogs in the Pike Bowl last Friday in Brundidge.
Goshen will look to improve on their 2-3 overall record and 1-2 record in region this week with a win over Hatch. Goshen has been streaky all season, as they lost their season opener, won their first region game over Zion Chapel, lost two games and then beat Pike County last week.
Head coach Joe Thornton will get his team ready to open the second half of the season with a victory on the road.
