Pike County area NFL Week 11 round up
Troy University alum Leodis McKelvin had three kick returns for 185 yards, including a 98-yard touchdown Monday night in the Buffalo Bills’ 29-27 loss at the hands of the Cleveland Browns. McKelvin also had one tackle in the game.
Troy University alum Lawrence Tynes was 1-for-1 on field goal tries and 3-for-3 on PATs in the New York Giants’ 30-10 victory over Baltimore Sunday.
Troy University alum DeMarcus Ware had six tackles and one sack in the Dallas Cowboys’ 14-10 win over the Washington Redskins Sunday.
Pike County High School alum Cornelius Griffin recorded one tackle in the Redskins’ loss.
PLAS state title game tickets on sale
Tickets for the AISA Class AAA state championship game to be played Friday at Movie Gallery Veterans Stadium at 4 p.m. are on sale at Pike Liberal Arts School.
Tickets are $8 if purchased at the school and $10 if purchased at the gate.
