Twins plead guilty to bank robbery
Published Monday, November 17, 2008
Twin brothers have pleaded guilty in federal court to robbing Brundidge’s Troy Bank & Trust in April 2007.
Kiven and Kevin Foster, both 22 of Tarentum, were arrested April 28, 2007, for holding up the Brundidge bank with a fake machine gun.
Kiven has been sentenced to 37 months in jail, and Kevin, 46 months, after they pleaded guilty in federal court for holding up the bank and stealing $6,000 in April 2007, according to FBI Media Relations Angie Tobon.
The robbery originally occurred around 10 a.m. April 27.
Brundidge Police Chief Moses Davenport said after the incident, the fake gun looked real enough to fool bank employees and investigators who watched on surveillance footage.
Davenport said this robbery marked the first bank robbery Brundidge had seen in 30 years, and TB&T officials said it was the first of any branch since its beginning in 1906.

Oh Lord Oh Lord. Things like this used to never happen. People didn't used to rob banks. It's getting so bad. The world is ending. It's the end of days. Oh Lord Oh Lord. Let us pray for people and pray that people pray for people because prayer is the only way we can change. If only they had not taken Jesus out of schools. Oh Lord Oh Lord.

Amusing, showdown2. Your sarcasm is so refreshing and humorous. I really enjoy the way you go from topic to topic spreading it.
It makes me wonder if you had a traumatic childhood or if you are just a very small person trying to feel big. Freud would say there is some unconscious compulsion controlling these actions and forcing you to act out in this sarcastic and bitter way. Have you seen a therapist to try and work through it? Do you have low self-esteem? Do you not receive enough attention from others? Is this quest for attention leading you to seek attention at all cost? Even negative attention? Has this always been your outlook on life, or is this a recent acquisition? What happened showdown2?
It would seem a better use of energy to find a positive outlet for your thoughts and actions. Life is not perfect, but it is the one you have to live with. Why live in that dark, little cave of negativity? Hey, on most days there is sunshine outside that cave!

For "listentome"
"Showdown" does not have the capability at all to either be impartial or understand the term "agree to disagree".
He is too young and immature...with a thirst and demand for power...while at the same time needing recognition but incapable of any understanding at any level about anything or any person because he chooses to do so.
His glass is always "half empty"...and always will be.
You and I and everyone else say the sky is "blue"...and even though we all know it is...he will insist that the sky is "green" and demand documents to prove it. He is agnostic about everything.
Too bad because he could turn that attitude around...and it's only his attitude that's holding him back from life itself...and also holding him back from making friends in real life. He does not understand that the good things in life need to be earned by respect for others and one must give respect before earning it.
As for the bank robbery...I am glad no one was hurt.

I fully agree with you "Bamabunny". Even though I just skip over his rambling's the mere fact he is allowed to post irritates me . According to the new rules of conduct on the comment forum , it says that anyone behaving as he does can be banned from commenting by the Messenger . I believe in free speech but he offers nothing in his comments . He is strictly out for attention and is known as an agitator.
I think it's time we all request the Messenger to ban him as he is not going to change .

Forgive him, Lord, for he know not what he do.

First off, free speech does not exist in private forums. Secondly, what does a ban do when I can just create a new account in two minutes? Even an IP ban is easily circumvented. I guess you'll just have to listen to me or leave.

I have to say I got a laugh out of "Showdown" this morning. He just beat a few folks to the punch with all the predictable comments that usually follow these types of stories.
I'm surprised more people haven't commented on this interesting story and the fact twins held up a bank. I can't imagine that happens that often. Adds new meaning to "double dipping." And had it been triplets doing the holdup, would it had been considered a gang?

It's not a good idea to mock God.

Maybe banks should give robbers with fake guns, fake money.
-
people robbing banks=prison(rightly so)
-
government robbing taxpayers=people being told that paying more taxes is patriotic.
-
Conclusion-It's more profitable to get a job at a failing corporation than to be a robber. But, in either case both of them are screwed.

I'm glad to see someone can take a joke.

The article states that they are twins. In the next paragraph it states that they are both 22. I had no idea twins would be the same age. That is one heck of a coincidence. They are twins AND they are both 22.

showdown if people would just stop and think and not read your crap or respond to it you would more than likely stop posting. Most people know why you post the stuff you do and realize you don't believe what you write yourself.

You are right spot. I did not realize that. What an amazing coincidence! We have two twins, both 22 years old! Did you notice that the article also stated that they were BROTHERS? Unreal!

They could have been twins but not brothers - - brother/sister, sisters/ or simply twins of others but not each other in which case they might not be the same age.
Wasn't it a TB&T branch in Goshen which was robbed about 30-years ago?

For ghost_of Christmas_Past
Wow! Sad at 22 years of age these 2 already have a "past". Guess we know there is no future for them. They'll grow up fast in prison. Heck of a future.
Too bad they have not seen the "light of day"...and probably never will.
