James B. Roberson

Mr. James B. Roberson, 64 of Troy, died March 17, 2003 in his home. Mr. Roberson is survived by eight children: Five sons: Terroll Roberson of Montgomery, AL; Vernon, Tony and Byron Roberson all of Detroit, MI; and Darren K. Roberson of Troy, AL. Three daughters: Barbara Green, Cathy Dixon, and Carla Roberson all of Troy, AL. Four sisters: Johnnie Seymore, Dorthy Dejerinetta, and Juliette Peterson (Guy) all of Detroit, MI. Virginia Rogers (Jonas) of Elba, AL. Three brothers: Charles Roberson and Gary Roberson of Detroit, MI and Gregory "Buck" Roberson of Glenwood, Al. He was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Jessie Lou Roberson and four brothers and one sister: Vernon, Earnest, Alvin "Pelo" and Johnny Mack Roberson; sister Mattie O. Phillips. Two sister-in-laws: Gloria Roberson of Troy, AL and Mary Robinson of Detroit, MI. Two aunts: Helen Ballard and Selna Herndon. One uncle: John Henderson (Idella). Grandchildren: Kaiyan Dixon, Starshia Andrews, Quez Green, DeQuarrius, Shania, Fanisha and one great grandson JaQuavious Green.

Visitation will be held at the Harrison Funeral Home on March 21, 2004 from 12:30-5:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery on March 22, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. John Bryant will be officiating.
