Freshens, located in the Trojan Express on the campus of Troy State University offers many refreshing ways to beat the heat this summer.

Freshens serves a variety of treats, from ice cream and frozen yogurt to their trademark Smoothies.

Freshens' ice cream treats make a great snack. They have chocolate and vanilla ice-cream a that can be topped with a wide variety of candies like Reeses and Oreos. They have a big selection of sundaes to choose from, or you can make your own custom treat.

For a more healthy treat, Freshen's also serves delicious frozen yogurt with a variety of toppings.

The specialty of Freshens is easily the Smoothies. These frozen drinks are made from a variety of fresh fruits and fruit juices and make a great snack anytime. There are plenty of Smoothie flavors to choose from, so you're sure to find at least one favorite. Smoothies are also good for you. Each Smoothie is loaded with vitamins and minerals.

Freshen's is also a good morning stop before you head to work or to class since they also serve Starbucks coffee.

With a wide selection of treats and flavors, Freshens is the best place to stop to get a great snack that's also good for you.
