Wedding: Vickers and Dykes

Kristyn Elizabeth Vickers and Jeremiah Wilson Dykes were united in Holy Matrimony on Saturday, May 16, 2009 at Harrison House Bed and Breakfast in Wichita Falls, Texas. The Reverend Rod Payne officiated the 11 o’clock ceremony.
Kristyn is the daughter of Eric Todd Vickers and Kay Elizabeth James, both of Montgomery, Alabama, and the granddaughter of Howard Franklin and Faye Bowen James of Montgomery, Alabama and of Lawrence Dwight and Bonnie Gray Vickers of Prattville, Alabama.
Jeremiah is the son of Charles Thomas and Beth Ann Scheller Dykes of Prattville, Alabama, and the grandson of Dorothy Ann Lathrop Scheller and the late Henry Reinhold Scheller of Waupaca, Wisconsin and of the late Ernest Harvey and Norma Carol Sessions Dykes of Brundidge, Alabama.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents. She wore a diamond white Maggie Sottero gown. Regally embellished delicate lace accented with crystals, beads, and sequins enhanced the bodice, shoulder straps, center-front cutaway insert, chapel-length train and corset closure of the A-line, sweetheart neckline, delustered satin gown. A fingertip-length veil adorned her beautiful blonde hair and she carried a bouquet of amethyst and peridot orchids hand wrapped with amethyst satin ribbon and pearl pins.
The groom was attired in his United States Air Force dress blues.
Following the ceremony, a reception followed at Harrison House Bed & Breakfast.
The couple resides in Misawa, Japan and will honeymoon at Tokyo Disneyland over the Christmas holidays.
