Engagement: Messick and Jacobs
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Jeffery Messick of Troy are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Andrea Jo Messick, to Justin Tyler Jacobs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Steve Jacobs of Athens.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Luther Messick, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Outlaw, all of Troy, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Pope of Henderson. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Juanita Messick of Goshen and Mrs. Ethel Petty of Troy. Andrea is a 2006 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy and is currently attending TROY University pursuing a degree in Interpreter Training. She is employed with Stephens Auto in Troy.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Jacobs of Athens and the late Mrs. Kathleen Jacobs and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Mobley of Athens. Justin is a 2002 graduate of Athens High School in Athens and attended Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa. He currently serves as Youth Pastor of Joquin Baptist Church in Goshen.
The wedding will be an event of June 20th, 2009 at Joquin Baptist Church in Goshen, Alabama. The ceremony will begin at 6:30 P.M. in the evening. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
Engagement: Ruth and Crutchfield
Mr. and Mrs. James Edgar Radford of Madison announce the engagement of their daughter, Virginia Ruth, to Kyle Joseph Crutchfield of Daphne. He is the son of Mrs. Sharon Crutchfield and Richard Crutchfield.
Miss Radford is a 2001 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy. She is also a graduate of Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and teaches at Quality Schools International in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia.
Mr. Crutchfield is a 1998 graduate of Daphne High School. He has attended Troy University and the University of Mobile. He currently serves in the U.S. Army at Fort Benning, Georgia.
A summer wedding is planned at Fort Benning.
