Engagement: Ingram and Harper, Jr.
Mr. and Mrs. Grady Marcus Ingram of Andalusia proudly announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Laura Ashley, to Jimmie Lee Harper, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Lee Harper of Montgomery.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Holland Weaver, Jr. of Andalusia and Mrs. James Edwin Ingram and the late Mr. Ingram of Union Springs. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Arrie McGrady of Union Springs.
Miss Ingram is a graduate of Andalusia High School and is a senior at the University of Mobile with a major in Advertising and Public Relations. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta and Alpha Chi Honor Societies. Miss Ingram will graduate in December.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mrs. Nellie Sue Helms and the late Mr. Ray Helms of Brundidge and Mr. and Mrs. Garfield Wood of Lincoln and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Harper of Forsythe, Georgia.
Mr. Harper is a graduate of Brewbaker Technology Magnet High School in Montgomery and of the University of Mobile with a Bachelor of Science degree in Theology. He is currently employed at Airport Boulevard Baptist Church as the youth minister and the University of Mobile as a Campus Life Coordinator.
The wedding is scheduled for September 5, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Andalusia. Invitations will be sent, but all friends and family are invited to attend.
Engagement: Porter and Smothers
Together with their family and friends, Kitty Amanda Porter and John Wayne Smothers announce their engagement and upcoming marriage. Amanda works for Troy University eCampus and lives in Stills Crossroads Community.
John is employed by Wiley Sanders Truck Lines, Inc. and currently resides in Troy.
The wedding will take place at 11 a.m. September 5, 2009 at Sorrell Chapel on the Troy University Campus in Troy.

The bride-elect is the daughter of the late William Timothy Freeman. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Florette Davis Stinson and the late Frank Verna Stinson of Troy and the late Thomas Wiley Freeman and the late Edna Colleen Holmes of Troy.
She is a 2006 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy. She is employed by the Pioneer Museum of Alabama in Troy.
The future groom is the grandson of Arthur and Faye Hughes of Enterprise and Wilma Barley and the late Thomas H. Barley of Level Plains.
He is a 2004 graduate of Enterprise High School in Enterprise. He is employed by Custom Cabinetry in New Brockton.
The wedding will be held on September 12, 2009 at four ‘o clock in the afternoon at the Pioneer Museum of Alabama in Troy.

Nicole is a 2002 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy. She is also a 2006 graduate of Troy University with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She was a member of the “Sound of the South Marching Band”. She is currently employed with Sikorsky Aircraft in Troy.
Josh is a 2001 graduate of Zion Chapel High School and is currently employed with Sikorsky Aircraft in Troy.
A September wedding is planned at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Adams of the Josie Community.

Rev. and Mrs. Roy Bafton Wood of Troy are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Erin Elizabeth to Jared Randol Sellers, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Randol Sellers, III of Ashford, AL. Erin is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Mobley of Brundidge and Mrs. Norma Wood of Troy and the late Rev. Roy J. Wood. She is a 2001 graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy and Troy University where she earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Business Administration. Erin is a member of Phi Mu Sorority and is employed with the City of Troy. Jared is the grandson of Mrs. Retha Sellers of Newton, AL and the late Mr. William Randol Sellers, Jr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Delmas Green of Slocomb, AL. Jared is a 2003 graduate of Ashford High School and Troy University where he earned a degree in Journalism with a minor in Classical Studies. Jared is a member of FarmHouse Fraternity.
The ceremony will be October 3, 2009 at 5:00 in the afternoon at Salem Baptist Church in Brundidge, AL. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Meredith is the granddaughter of Mrs. Fleeta Miller Meredith and the late Mr. Truett Brooks Meredith of Enterprise and the late Mr. and Mrs. Louie May of Eutaw and Huntsville.
Nic is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Teasley of Sunland, California and Mrs. Sandra Ward of Carpenteria, California.
Meredith served as valedictorian of the class of 2000 at Charles Henderson High School. She is a graduate of Samford University and was named the Brock School of Business Most Outstanding Senior.
Meredith received a Masters of Divinity from Beeson Divinity School at Samford and is employed by LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville, Tennessee.
Nic is a graduate of Yosemite High School in Oakhurst and received a Business Administration degree from Fresno State University. Nic is employed by LifeWay Christian Resources in Nashville.
