Hortense Browder Horn, age 90, a resident of Troy, AL died Monday, August 7, 2017 at her home.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Rev. Ed Shirley officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Green Hills Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be Browder Horn, Gage Horn, Jimmy Newman, John Hilboldt, Lance Hall, Tony Cutchens, Shelby Nunnelee and Raymond Ledford.

Ms. Horn is survived by her daughter, Jan Ryan (David) of Guntersville; son, Jim Horn (Donna) of Troy; granddaughter, Angella Horn Stalnaker and son Jax of Troy; grandson, Browder Horn (Toni) of Troy and his children, Gage, Hayley, Madison, and Brittney; sister, Betty Griffin (Earl) of Ozark; brother-in-law, Raymond Hall of DeFuniak Springs; several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Horn; great granddaughter, Ella Boswell Smith; sisters, Jewel Dunn, Doris Thompson and Jeanette Hall and brother, Johnny Browder.

The family will be accepting flowers or donations can be made to the Brundidge United Methodist Church Building Fund, 140 North Main Street, Brundidge, AL 36010.
