Troy youth softball teams have always been competitive in Dixie softball district and state tournaments, and 2017 will be no different when five teams take the field in hopes of a state championship and World Series title.

As the regular season has just concluded, tournament teams have been selected and those teams are practicing in preparation of the upcoming tournaments.

This Saturday, June 10, over 20 teams will visit the Troy Sportsplex for the annual Dixie Softball Warmup Tournament, with actual district tournaments beginning days later.
