Haynes ambulance workers were on scene at Goshen Elementary School on Wednesday to tell students about the work that they do to save lives. Students were able to get a close-up look at an ambulance and the Life-Flight helicopter as the workers explained how they’re used. The kids had plenty of questions for the workers as well such as “Do you do loop-de-loops?” and “Does the helicopter have WiFi?” The program is art of an ongoing program called “Everyone Works” which is run by the education committee of the Pike County Chamber of Commerce. This is the program’s second year in the school systems. It is meant to allow kids to have a hands-on experience while learning about different professions.
