A Troy man was injured during a fatal two-vehicle crash early Monday in Bullock County.

Tyrone David Hamilton, 31, and Edward James Ross, 50, both of Clayton were killed when the 2005 Ford 350 in which they were passengers struck a 2001 International garbage truck driven by David S. McEntyre, 47, of Troy.

According to the Alabama State Troopers, McEntyre was transported to a local hospital and treated for injuries.

The drive of the Ford pickup truck, 70-year-old Ervin Toney of Midway, also was transported to a local hospital.

The crash took place on Alabama 30 at the 4.2 mile marker, one mile east of Clayton.

Troopers said no further information was available as the crash remains under investigation.
