One injured in shooting

One person was taken to a local hospital after a fight lead to a shooting Saturday afternoon.

Troy police officers were responding to a fight call at the Sunoco gas station on North Three Notch about 4:50 p.m., TPD spokesman Lt. Bryan Week said. Before officers had arrived, bystanders reported that shots had been fired and one person was injured.

“The victim was taken to Troy Regional Medical Center with non-lifethreatening injuries,” Weed said, adding that he had no additional information about the victim.

No suspects are in custody as police continue to investigate the shooting.
