Delbert Roy “Bert” Brown of Goshen died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at his home. Bert was born December 19, 1953 to the late William Thomas “Buster” Brown and his mother Virginia Brown. Bert loved Fishing, watching Nascar and rooting for Dale Earnhart and the # 3 car until his death. Bert also loved to grow his garden and spent many hours tending to it.

Funeral services for Bert Brown will be Wednesday, February 17 2016 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 1:00PM until 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be Matt Brown, Micah Brown, Louis Brown, Kenny Brown, Andrew Mills and Josh Brown.

Bert is survived by his daughters, Deanne (Todd) Stephens of Troy, Ginger Brown of Troy, his grandchildren, Holly, Shelly, Jodee and Maribeth Stephens of Troy and Aiden Brown of Colorado. His brothers and sisters, Sam (Sue) Brown, , Steve (Nancy) Brown, Bobby (Charla) Brown, Lee Ann (Mike) Allen, Margaret (Ray) Catrett, Carol Baker and David (Rena`) Averett And his companion and friend, his dog, Lil Bit.

Bert was preceded in death by his father, William Thomas “Buster” Brown, son, Jesse Brown, Bother, William Thomas “Billy” Brown Jr., and a nephew, Samuel James Brown Jr.,
