The players delivered gift baskets in appreciation for the vital roles the facilities play in the lives of city residents. Coach Neal Brown said he wants his players to realize the importance of giving back to their communities. Community is important and family is important, Brown said. The “football family” had Thanksgiving dinner together Thursday and the players’ families were invited to join them before the team boarded the bus for Atlanta and Friday’s game with Georgia State.
