Mrs. Shirley Ann Adams of Troy, AL passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She was 79. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Randy Adams, Pastor Brad Sasser and Pastor Hollis Bradley officiating.  Burial will follow at Mossy Grove Cemetery with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held Sunday at the funeral home from 1:30 pm until service time. She was born October 16, 1935 in Troy, AL to the late Luther Hester and Nellie Crook Hester. She is survived by her husband, Alphus C. Adams, sons, Ronnie Adams (Angie) and Bubba Adams (Angie), all of Troy, grandchildren, Heather Walker (Brent), Blake Adams (Lydia), Alex Adams, Shay Dunn and Will Dunn, a great grandson, Cameron Adams (Lola) and many beloved nieces and nephews.
