David Eugene Culver, age 60, a resident of Grady, Alabama died Sunday, September 27, 2015. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Minister’s Brent Missildine and Charles Fransico officiating and Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing. Burial will follow in the Hills Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 6-8pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mr. Culver is survived by his wife, Vera Culver of Grady, AL; daughter, Sarah Culver Smith (Donnie) of Marbury, AL; mother Sarah Missildine of Grady; step-mother, Diane Culver of Montgomery; eight sisters, Bobbie June Hicks of Grady, Mary Anne Pittman (Tommy) of Grady, Susan Bass of Grady, Cindy Helms (Clint) of Grady, Linda Taylor (Greg), Brenda Paul (Glenn), Rhonda Hobbs (Doug) and Libby Miller (Matt); one brother, Robert Culver (Brooke) of Elmore; two grandchildren, Hailey Armstrong and Allie Smith and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert E. Culver; one brother, Coleman Culver, grandparents, Alonza and Ruth Culver and Ennis and Annie M. Andrews; step-father, Neil Missildine

Pallbearers will be David Hubbard, Bills Mills, Michael Self, Tim Dunn, David Olive and Randy Broadway

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ricky Thompson, Sonny Mills, JJ Harrod and Brent Hill.
