With the 2015 Troy Parks and Recreation league baseball and softball leagues nearing their conclusions, there is still something to play for, as some league champions are still in doubt.

In softball, the Dirt Devils won the Angels division with a 9-1 record. The Elite (8-4) sit in second; SheHawks (4-7) in third place and the Blue Lightning at 1-10 round out the bottom of the division.

The Darlings division has an undefeated team sitting up top of the standings. The Fireballs finished with an unblemished record of 11-0 on the season. The Hot Rods sit in second place with a .500 record at 6-6. The Diamond Dolls and the Patriots sit in third and fourth place in the division, with records of 4-6 and 4-7. The Wild Angels finished with a record of 2-8.

In the Ponytails division, the Pride currently sits on top of the four-team division with a 6-1 record. The Lady Warriors (3-3), Peaches (2-5), and Luverne, (1-3) round out the rest of the division. The division is scheduled to finish play with the Peaches taking on the Pride Thursday at 5:45 p.m. on Sportsplex Field 1. The Peaches will then face the Lady Warriors Friday.

The Elite walked away with first place of the Sweetes division with a record of 7-1-1. The Angels finished 6-1-2 and took second place in the division.

In baseball, all but one division has been locked up for the 2015 season. With another week to go in the season for the Dixie Boys league, there is only a half-game difference between the first and second place teams. The Mud Hens sit in first place with a 5-1 record, while the Blue Jays sit just a half game back at 5-2. The Rays sit at .500 in the league with a record of 3-3. Brantley and the Yankees sit in fourth and fifth place.

In all other leagues the champions have been crowned.

In the Dixie Minor league the Indians reigned supreme with a 12-1 record, out-pacing the Orioles, (8-4) who finished in second.

The Phillies won first place in the Dixie Youth league with a record of 11-2. The Dodgers (9-3) finished in second, while the Twins (9-4) finished in third.

The Phillies also won the Farm League, but the Phillies finished with an undefeated record of 11-0 winning the league by three games over the Yankees.

The Pre-Mid league was the tightest of them all this season. The Nationals finished their season with a record of 10-2. The Royals finished a half game back at 10-3.

Over the next several days, the All-Star teams will be picked for the upcoming tournament season.

The All-Stars will be selected from the Dixie-Boys and the Belles over the next couple of weeks following the conclusion of their season.
