 Mr. Mullis Stewart of Troy passed away Thursday, April 23, 2015 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. He was 85. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Paran Cemetery with the Eulogy given by his brother James Stewart. Burial will follow with full Military Honors, Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Visitation will be held from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Sunday at Skeen Funeral Home in Troy prior to the service. He was born April 20, 1930 in Pike County, AL to the late Charlie Herman and Oma Mullis Stewart. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army where he earned several medals for his service during the Korean War. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by 2 brothers, William Braxton Stewart and Charlie Stewart. He is survived by 2 bothers, Fred Stewart, Troy; James Stewart, Northport, AL; a sister: Sara Stewart Newsom, Denton, TX; and 11 nieces and nephews.
