PCHS and GHS rained out

With storm clouds creating a shadow across much of Alabama Friday, many hometown favorites saw their playoff games postponed before even being able to lace up their cleats to take the field Friday.

Pike County Bulldogs head coach Tony May reported that the baseball team’s games against Slocomb slated to have been played at 4:30 p.m. Friday were rescheduled to Noon today. The Bulldogs will still travel to Slocomb for the contests.

Similar to their Pike County rivals, the Goshen Eagles’ playoff games against Luverne High School were also postponed. The Eagles were slated to play at 4 p.m. with another game following shortly after at 7:30 p.m., but the two teams are scheduled to take the field for their first game at 11 a.m. The Eagles are scheduled to face the Tigers shortly after at 1:30 p.m.
