Gwen Sanders Register age 66 of Grady died Monday, February 9, 2015 at the Troy Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 3:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Minister Robert Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Belser Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 until 3:00 on Wednesday.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lee Register, her parents James Andrews and Agnes L. Penn Sanders and a brother John Earl Sanders.

She is survived by her daughters Christy Register and Candy (Heath) Finlayson, three granddaughters Kaitlyn Berry, Abigail Berry and Haley Finlayson, 3 brothers Jimmy (Deborah) Sanders, Jack (Barbara) Sanders and David Register,2 sisters Ann (Michael) Miles and Wanda (John) Sheedy, and a special friend Gilbert Shaver and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Eric Law and the staff at Hospice Advantage of Troy.

Memorial ma be made to Hospice Advantage of Troy, who’s staff will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Active pallbearers will be Shannon Miles, Erik Miles, Joseph Sanders, Tim Sanders, Joshua Sherffler and Ben McAlister.
