Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Paschael Anderson of Troy announce the engagement of their daughter Alla Lee Anderson to Jacob Alexander Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keith Smith of Troy.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Doug Hawkins and the late Rachel Y. Hawkins of Troy, Ala. and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Anderson of Troy.

Miss Anderson is a 2010 graduate of Pike Liberal Arts School and attended Auburn University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Collaborative Education in 2014. She will complete her Master of Science Degree in Collaborative Education from Troy University in May 2015. She is a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She is presently working as a graduate assistant to the Associate Dean of the School of Education at Troy University.

The future groom is the grandson of Mrs. Estelle Money and the late Mr. Benton Alexander Money and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Arthur (Moon) Smith.

Mr. Smith is a 2009 graduate of Charles Henderson High School and attended Troy University. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and received a Master’s in accounting from the Sorrell College of Business from Troy University in Dec. 2014 . He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity. He is currently employed as a CPA with Carr, Riggs & Ingram in Montgomery.

The wedding is planned for 5:30 p.m. May 30, 2015 at First Baptist Church, Troy. A reception will follow at Johnson Center for the Arts in Troy.
