Mr. Jerry Michael Swindall, 65, or Troy passed away December 25, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center South, Montgomery. Service for Mr. Swindall will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28 at Skeen Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be one hour before service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. Mr. Swindall is survived by his wife, Joyce Swindall, son and wife, Todd and Wendy Swindall; granddaughters, Shelby Swindall and Haley Hall; Grandsons, Trey Hall, Bubba Dill, and Shane Dill; his daughter and her husband, Aubrey (Bryan) Dill, his brother and wife, Larry (Ann Poole) Swindall.

He was born July 11, 1949 to the late Oliver Roscoe Swindall and Julia Stephens Swindall in Pike County, Alabama.

Mike faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army receiving five Purple Hearts, Silver Star and Bronze Star. He was a loving father, husband and best papa ever. He was the most giving, unselfish person and enjoyed giving vegetables to any and everyone.

Pallbearers will be Jim Horn, Russ Harris, Jeff Danner, Johnny Ross, Bill Quarles and Jerry Jinright. Honor bearers will be the Pine Ridge Hunting Club.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Tony Swindall.
