Mary Frances Ingram

Mary Frances Ingram, age 93 of Lapine, AL, died Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her residence.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Kelly and Rev. Chuck Franciscus officiating.  Burial to follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Bill Brannon officiating.  Pallbearers will be, Shannon Tew, Robbie Ross, Scott Ross, Darrell Ingram, Dwaine Ingram, Jay Hollingshead and Billy Hixon.  Honorary pallbearers will be Roscoe Bowen, Bill & Carolyn Pennington and Claire Boren.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.   She loved her faith, family and flowers.  She owned Ingrams Grocery in Grady for 20 plus years; where she was a “mema” to hundreds of children.  She was loved by many.  She was preceded in death by her father, Zollie English, mother, Charlie Annie English Holland, husband, Emmett Ingram, sons, Huey Maxwell Ingram and William Stanley Ingram; brother, Ray English; sisters, Odessa Norman and Annie Mae Spivey.  She is survived by her children, Judy Steward, Joanne Ross (Johnny), Richard Ingram (Linda), Jill Ingram and Jackie May (Mike); 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Joyce Bozeman; numerous nieces and nephews.  The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Donald Marshall and the staff of Hospice of Montgomery.   In addition to flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Hospice of Montgomery or the charity of your choice.  Family and friends can sign the guest book and order flowers at greenhillsfuneralhome.net.  The staff of Green Hills Funeral Home is honored to serve the Ingram family.
