Two Charles Henderson High School cross country runners will run at state Nov. 8 at the state meet in Moulton.

Lakin Turner and Taylor Montgomery both clinched spots at the state meet after their performances at sectionals Thursday in Auburn.

Turner finished seventh overall in the 5k with her personal best time of 22:20.

Montgomery turned in his personal best time of 18:51 in the 5k Thursday as he finished in 15th place.

Three other Trojans finished with personal bests in Auburn, but will not move on to compete at the state meet next Saturday.
