On Wednesday, Sept. 24, the Troy Nutrition Center held its annual Choir Day showcasing the senior choir. Choir members performed for others at the nutrtion center, offeringa selection of their favorite hymns and other songs. Members also made a special tribute to former director Veleta Waltman, who served as choir director for many years. The senior choir meets every Wednesday and Friday at 10:30 a.m. and is under the direction of Doris Kimble. Above, the group finished with a rendition of “Amazing Grace.” At left, Peggy Peacock performed a solo.
