Troy and UMass have signed a home-and-home contract for the 2016 and 2018 football seasons; both schools announced Wednesday.

Troy will host UMass on Nov. 5, 2016, in Veterans Memorial Stadium, while the Trojans will make the return trip on Nov. 3, 2018. The game at UMass will either be played at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass., or at UMass’ on-campus stadium in Amherst, Mass.

“This is another home-and-home series that should be exciting for both our student-athletes and our fans,” Troy Athletic Director John Hartwell said. “This series fits our scheduling philosophy in that we get a home-and-home series with an FBS opponent and guarantee ourselves a six-game home schedule in 2016.”
