Johnny and Cindy Edwards of Brundidge would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Edwards to Lance Hilburn, son of Ron Hilburn and Starr Harrison of Troy.

Brooke Edwards is a graduate of Pike Liberal Arts and Troy University. She is employed by Pike County Department of Human Resources. She is a granddaughter of Marlie and Ouida Henson of Lumpkin, Georgia and Odus and Nell Edwards of Ariton.

The groom is a graduate of Pike Country High School in Brundidge and Alabama Aviation in Ozark. He is employed by Sikorsky in Troy. He is the grandson of Henry and Melba Hilburn of Luverne and Wiley and Virginia Harrison of Cornelia, Georgia.

The wedding will be on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 4.40 p.m. at Lake Simmie in Brundidge.
