Janice Elizabeth Castleberry, age 79, a resident of Troy died Monday, September 15, 2014 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Newman officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Mrs. Castleberry is survived by her children, Kathleen Heinse, Beverely Ann Weidner (Eric) and James D. Castleberry (Sandra N.); 4 grandchildren, Jeffrey Heinse, Julie Heinse, Jennifer Weidner and Brian Weidner; 2 great-grandchildren, Madison Heinse and Savannah Heinse; and an aunt, Joyce Pitts.

She was preceded in death by her husband A.C. Castleberry.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to her caregivers, Jean Thompson, Annie Ruth Tolbert, Luewedda Brundidge, Mattie Wheeler, Annie Ruth Tyson and the late Leola Glasco for their wonderful care.

In-lieu-of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
