“And that’s exactly the kind of performance this vocal quartet will bring to the Crosby stage Tuesday night,” Jinright said. “‘Vivace is a powerful and stirring vocal quartet truly unique to the classical crossover genre.

“‘Vivace gave a stirring performance at the Winter Olympics in Canada four years ago. They are very entertaining.”

Those who love the powerhouse singing of television programs like “America’s Got Talent,” will love the program that will be on stage at the Crosby Theater Tuesday night, Jinright said.

“The voices of these two sopranos and two tenors are absolutely beautiful. Vivace will perform beautiful music and loved melodies sung impeccably well.”

Jinright said each singer is well experienced and bursting with passion and talent and each brings a particular element to the group.

“Combined, they turn out a rich and colorful blend of sound that is exclusively their own,” he said.

Vivace is made up of Melody Mercredi, Tiffany Desrosiers, Marc Devigne and DJ Calhoun. The quartet was formed in 2010 and is primarily based out of Vancouver, Canada. They have toured extensively through the United States and Canada.

The group recently released their debut EP that is available on iTunes and other retailers.

Ruth Walker, TAC president, said Vivace is an outstanding choice to kick of the TAC performance calendar for 2014/2015

“Vivace puts a fresh new take on the classical and modern music of today,” she said. “Each member of the quartet is extremely talented and their performance is family friendly and will be long remembered. We encourage everyone to join us Tuesday night at the Crosby Theater for this outstanding performance.”

Vivace will next perform in Red Bluff, California; Port Ludlow, Washington; and Warren, Ohio.
