A graveside commitment ceremony was held for Levy P. (“Buddy”) Morrow, III, 58, 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 22, 2014, at Elba Cemetery, with Reverend Stanley Carter, Elba United Methodist Church, officiating. Buddy passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at his home in Thermopolis, Wyoming. A graduate of Troy University, Buddy worked as a nurse in Alabama and later in Central Wyoming. He was predeceased by his father, Colonel Levy P. (“Bud”) Morrow, Jr., USAF; his paternal grandparents, Levy P. and Mary S. Morrow, Elba; and his maternal grandparents, Sheriff H.D. and Mittie B. Tillman, Elba. He is survived by his mother, Doris Tillman Morrow, San Antonio, Texas; his sister, Brigadier General Dixie A. Morrow, Arlington, Virginia; his sons, Levy P. (“Bubba”) Morrow, IV, Aurora, Colorado and James R. (“Robbie”) Morrow, Troy, Alabama; his paternal aunt, Dr. Sue Morrow Terrell, Jacksonville, Florida, and her sons, cousins Dr. Thomas (“Tom”) Terrell and James (“Jim”) Terrell, Knoxville, Tennessee; his paternal aunt, Sarah Catherine Morrow, and her sons, cousins Dr. John and Stanley Morrow, Mobile, Alabama; his paternal uncle and aunt, Joseph M. (“Pete”) and Demetria (“Debbie”) Morrow and their children, cousins Joey and Helen Ann Morrow, Knoxville, Tennessee. Hayes Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
