Newman, Billy Myra, age 74, of Fort Davis, Alabama, died Sunday, August 17, 2014. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 19, 2014, 1:30 p.m., from Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Faulkner officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra McFarland Newman of Fort Davis, Alabama; daughter: Charlene Newman, Troy, Alabama; son: Brent Newman of Fort Davis, Alabama; brothers: Bobby Newman of Troy, Alabama, James Earl Newman of Montgomery, Alabama and Wallace Newman of Luverne, Alabama.

Pallbearers will be Paul Roughton, Phil Roughton, Troy Craig, Jimmy Stone, Josh Spratlan and Ken Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Austin, Henry Faulkner, Jake Little, Bunky Little, Dean Spratlan, Tommy Davis and Billy Wood.

A visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
