Ann Alice Howell, age 72, of Henderson, died Thursday, July 31, 2014 at her home after an extended illness surrounded by her loving family. Ann Howell was an active and faithful member of the Henderson Baptist Church

Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 3, 2014 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Matt Simmons and Reverend W.O. Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Henderson Memorial Cemetery. Dillard Funeral Home in Troy directing. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 5-7 Pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Survivors include: Husband of 55 years, Billy Howell, Children, Debbie Davis of Goshen, Janice Howell of Montgomery, Mary Jo (Brian) Collie, Bluefield, WV. Ken Howell of Goshen. Brothers and Sisters in law, Joe and Opal McLeod and Larry and Janith McLeod, Sister and Brother in law, Sarah and Roger Christensen, Granddaughter, Megan Davis, also numerous nieces , nephews , cousins and friends. Mrs. Howell was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Effie Mae McLeod and her brother, Donald McLeod.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cliff McLeod, Larry Thompkins, J.O. Norris Jr. Jimmy Williamson, Tracy Howell and Roger Christensen. Honorary pallbearers will be the Goshen Circle of Friends group. F

Flowers will be accepted or memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Henderson Baptist Church.
