Troy Police are seeking help from the public in identifying this man who is suspected of stealing a wallet from a local business on July 14. Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call the police department at 334-566-0500.

Troy Police need your help.

On July 14th, a woman’s wallet was stolen from a local business. Police have the suspect on surveillance video but have been unable to identify or catch the thief.

“Troy Police Department would like to ask the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect,” said Lt. Bryan Weed, public information officer.

The incident took place at approximately 2:30 p.m. July 14 at My Mama’s Pizza on Alabama Highway 87.

“The victim left their wallet in (the restaurant),” Weed said.

“Surveillance video showed a black male had picked up the wallet and left the business in a small, four-door blue car.”

Due to the contents of the wallet, the suspect is facing felony charges.

“If anyone has any information or can help identify the suspect, we’re asking them to call the Troy Police Department at 334-566-0500 or Crime Stoppers at 334-215-STOP.”
