A community-wide musical workshop is set for April 30- May 2 with a culminating concert on May 3. Everyone who is interested in learning more about gospel music is invited and encouraged to attend.
Brandon McClure, event organizer, said the workshop will begin at 6 p.m. nightly at the Baptist Student Center at 507 East College Street in Troy.
The workshop will be conducted by McClure and the Lending Voice Gospel Choir. The fee for the three-night workshop is $25.
Following the workshop, a concert will be presented at the Trojan Center on the campus of Troy University. Admission to the concert will be $10.
