This year marks the first time Charles Henderson has had a archer place in the state competition since 2011.

Archery coach Forrest Lee is excited for his two students to get the opportunity to compete at the national level.

“I am just tickled pink for them,” said Lee. “I believe they will both shoot well at the competition in Louisville. “They should be very competitive. Usually the Kentucky archers are the best, but Charles Henderson had knocked them off before, so it will be fun to see.”

The NASP Nationals will take place May 8-10 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville.

The three-day event will see over 10,000 archers shoot for a chance to be called national champion.

Stoltze and Sneed will shoot May 10 at 1 p.m.
