ALDOT begins work on bridge

The Alabama Department of Transportation wishes to inform the traveling public that Carter’ Contracting Services, Incorporated will begin work placing steel piling encasements on the bridge over Conecuh River on Monday, April 7, 2014. The bridge is located south of Saco in Pike County.
The contractor will furnish adequate signs, flag-persons and all necessary traffic control devices to protect workers and the traveling public.
Motorists should expect delays and are urged to use extreme caution and obey all posted speed limits while traveling through this area.
