Charles Leon Guy, age 77, of Goshen, died Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at his residence.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Independent Baptist Church Cemetery in Cottonwood, AL with Rev. Jared Buchanan officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  A private visitation will be on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Guy graduated from Auburndale Senior High School in Florida in 1955.  He worked 43 years in the Citrus Farm Industry for Adams Packing Association in Auburndale, FL. ; was a member of Goshen Baptist Church and loved gardening and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his three brothers, Ledon Guy, Edwin Guy and Lavon Guy.  He is survived by his wife Sybil M. Guy; son, Charles Lamon Guy (Heidi) of Goshen, AL.; daughter, Shonda Celeste Mylod (Richard) of Waynesboro, PA; grandchildren, Padric Charles Mylod, Matthew Robert Mylod, Regan Michael Mylod and Zachary Lamon Guy.

Pallbearers will be Padric Mylod, Matthew Mylod, Zachary Guy, Ivan Smith, Joel Ridley and Dennis Needham.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alacare Hospice at 824 US Hwy 231 South, Troy, AL 36081.
