Betty Sue Warner, age 82 of Troy, died Friday, March 14, 2014 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday March 16, 2014 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Green Hills Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Dwayne Norman officiating and Green Hills Funeral Home directing.  Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Warner retired from Troy Textiles after thirty years of service, and worked several years at Carter Brothers in Brundidge.  She was a member of Bush Memorial Baptist Church.  She loved flowers and quilting and was known for her love of garage sales.

She was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Matilda Botts of Josie and husband Jackie L. Warner of Troy.   She is survived by her daughters Martha Sue Pevehouse (L.B.) of Troy and Regina Slick of San Antonio, TX;  step daughter Angela Whitaker of Kentucky;  grandchildren Toni Celka (Mike) of Eclectic, AL, Shay Haby (John) of San Antonio, TX; great grandchildren Caitlin Celka, Ashton Celka, Cade Celka, Chloe Tschirhart; brother George Karon Botts (Frances) of Brundidge; sisters Mae Hand of Troy, and Sylvia Braxton of Columbus, GA; and Uncle Virgil Botts of Brundidge; several nieces and nephews.
