Mr. H.L. “Junior” Byrd JR., a age 89 of Troy died Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Noland Hospital In Dothan.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Clifford Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral at the Funeral Home.

He is survived by his Son Timothy Byrd of Troy, a sister-in-law Wilma Rodgers of Troy, a niece Diane Farrior a nephew Terry (Teresa) Rodgers, great niece and nephew Tara (Steven) Morelock and Barry Rodgers.

He was preceded in death by his wife Lois Rodgers Byrd.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the Choir at Springfield  Baptist Church, Raymond Ledford, Robert Earl Smith and Vester Little, Jeffrey McQuagge, Frank Sadler and Frank Sadler, Jr..

Active pallbearers will be Preston Leverette, Samuel Fredrick, Terry Rodgers, Joe Wilson, John Austin and Raymond Ledford.
