Thomas E. Haigh

Thomas E. Haigh, age 61 of Troy, died Friday, February 21, 2014 at Troy Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at 11:00 am at Collegedale Church of Christ with Greg Wilkes and Judge William Hightower officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. Burial will follow in the Green Hills Memorial Cemetery with Green Hills Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Haigh was a member of Collegedale Church of Christ. He was a member of the Alabama State Bar Association and the Pike County Bar Association. He served as Chairman of the Pike County Republican Executive Committee and was an associate member of the Pike County Republican Women. Mr. Haigh was a longtime collector of Disney Memorabilia, especially Mickey Mouse.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Isabel Haigh; brother, Joseph Haigh. He is survived by his wife Nell Haigh; daughters, Victoria A. Bossaller, Roxanne M. Taylor (John); stepsons, David St. John (Angie), Jeffrey St. John, Jonathan St. John; brother, Ted Haigh (Kathy); sisters, Jennifer Lushenko (Al), Nancy Williams (John); grandchildren, Alexander and Jacob Bossaller, Heath Fleming and Lillian Taylor; special pets, Tucker, Lucy and Lady Bug.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pike County Humane Society at 183 Gibson Hill, Troy, AL 36079 or the Pike County Republican Women’s Scholarship Fund at PO Box 627, Troy, AL 36081.
