Michael Drued “Mickey” McDonald

Mr. Michael Drued “Mickey” McDonald of Troy, AL. passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at his residence. He was 62. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Skeen Funeral Home Chapel of Troy. Eulogy will be given by family and friends with Skeen Funeral Home of Troy directing. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. one hour prior to the service. He was born January 15, 1951 in Pike County, AL to the late Clyde McDonald and Vallie Wilkes McDonald. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was a fun loving person who loved life. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, James C. “Jimmy” McDonald, Jr. and David C. “Bubba” McDonald. He is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law: Tasha (Blake) Weeks, Sumer McDonald and Kasi (Dillon) Stinson all of Elba, AL; grandchildren: Chandler Weeks, Graycee Donaldson, Morgan Donaldson, Peyten Lunsford, Chloe Bobo, Landon Sawyer and Jerimiah Stinson all of Elba; 2 sisters: Darlene Jordan, Banks, AL; and Kathy Jinright, Newton, AL; brother: Robert Malcolm “Pee Wee” McDonald, Troy, AL. and numerous nieces and nephews.
