Johnny Mulkey

 

Mr. Johnny Mulkey, age 81 of Ariton, Alabama, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 6, 2013. Visitation for Mr. Mulkey will be Friday, November 8, 2013 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Thrash-Keahey Funeral Home in Brundidge, Alabama. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. At New Hope Baptist Church in the New Hope Community with the Reverends Laney Sheppard and Mike Medley officiating. Burial will follow at Haw Hill Cemetery on Al Hwy 125.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Betty J. Mulkey, his daughter Pattie Archie (Donald), his two sisters, Jean Davis and Winnie B. Terry, his brother, James Mulkey (Melba), his six grandchildren, Jonathan Fleming, Bridget Smith, Melissa Carnley, Heather Mulkey, Ashley Mulkey and Justin Mulkey, and eight great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Johnny Wayne Mulkey.
