Blanchie Yvonne Hallford Ellis, age 65, a resident of Brundidge, AL died Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her home. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Mt. Olive Assembly of God Church with the Reverend Shirlie Ellis and Reverend Ashley Faulk officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Brundidge.

Mrs. Ellis is survived by her husband Leander Ellis of Brundidge, 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Charlotte and Stanley Richards, Leigh and Mark Shehane of Brundidge; special sister, Jan and Robin Sullivan of Troy; sister Becky Oliver of Troy; brother, Donnie and Sue Hallford of Troy; grandchildren, Santana Richards, bobby and Melanie Thrash, Justin and Rosanna Thrash, Josh and Amber Richards, Jeremy and Clara Richards, MJ Shehane, Morgan Shehane, Michael Shehane, Mason Shehane; 5 great-grandchildren, Rylan Thrash, Collin Thrash, Ariel Richards, Emily Richards, Ash Richards and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.

She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Andrew Ellis, her parents Hubert and Dorothiene Hallford and a special uncle Howard “Fox” Hallford.
