Annie Kathryne Williams Dunn

Annie Kathryne Williams Dunn, age 91, a resident of Banks, AL died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 pm from the chapel of Dillard Funeral Home in Troy with Reverend Danny Arnold officiating. Interment will follow in Green Hills Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 3, 2013 from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm at Dillard Funeral Home in Troy.

Kathryne was born on July 14, 1922, at Linwood, Pike County, Alabama, to the late Hilliard Wood Williams and Ann Eliza Curry Williams. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church, Troy Homemakers Club, and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

She was married for 43 years to the Late William Cody Dunn. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Infant Roy (twin) Williams, Curry James Williams, and Hilliard Richard Williams, sisters’ Infant Foy (twin) Williams, Mavis Williams Warren, Mary Evelyn Williams, Columbus and Marjorie Clair Williams Sheldon.

She is survived by three daughters Marsha Dunn Boutwell of Troy, Edith Dunn (Thomas) Synco of Troy and Kathy Dunn (John) Maffei of River Ridge, LA., her grandchildren William Clifford Boutwell of Troy, Laurie Kathryn Synco (Tim) McFalls of Madison, Daniel Cody Synco of Troy, Stephen Morgan Maffei of River Ridge, Cody Alexander Maffei of River Ridge, a great grandson John Thomas McFalls of Madison, a sister-in-law Mae Green Williams of Troy, an aunt-in-law Helen Pope Morgan of Mobile, and many nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be William Clifford Boutwell, Daniel Cody Synco, Stephen Morgan Maffei, Cody Alexander Maffei, Timothy Michael McFalls, John Curry Key and Victor Sheldon Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Members and past pastors of Northside Baptist Church, The Troy Homemakers Club, and members of the Troy Alcazar Shrine club and their wives.

Memorials may be made to Concord/China Grove Cemetery Fund c/o Marsha Boutwell 62 County Road 2302, Troy, Al 36079, The Northside Baptist Church or your favorite charity.
