Dr. Blaire Elizabeth Aldridge Weds Dr. Dustin Wade Dean

Dr. Blaire Elizabeth Aldridge and Dr. Dustin Wade Dean were united in marriage on the 10th of August 2013 at six o’clock in the evening at St. Vincent’s in-the-Vineyard Episcopal Chapel in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Dan Jackson. Music for the ceremony was provided by Dr. Mary Alberici. Ceremony song “Something in the Way She Moves” was sung by Jason B. King – the best man to the groom. Guests attended a seated dinner and reception in the barn at Chaumette Vineyard in Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

The bride is the daughter of Susan Millicent Taylor Aldridge of Aiken, South Carolina and the late Thomas Eugene Aldridge who grew up in Troy, AL. The bride is the granddaughter of the late James Taylor III and the late Millicent Tetlow Taylor both of Aiken, SC and on the paternal side the late Roscoe Claude and Margaret Eleanor Catherine Aldridge of Birmingham, AL.

The groom is the son of Terry and Linda Dean of Dadeville, MO. He is the grandson of the late Leo and Erma Williams of Bois d’Arc, MO and the late Deward and Mary Dean of Ash Grove, Mo.

The bride was escorted by her brother Charles Brooks Aldridge of Berlin, Germany and given in marriage in memory of her father the late Thomas E. Aldridge.

Samantha Harmer, M.D. of London, England, served as Maid of Honor with her baby daughter Amelia Vivien Harmer in attendance. Bridesmaids included Dr. Rebecca Perry-Hill of West Lafayette, Indiana, Miss Stacey Enneking of Lafayette, Indiana, and Dr. Catalina Troche of Gainesville, FL. Mr. Jason B. King of Dadeville, Mo served as Best Man. Groomsmen included Boo Persica of Baton Rouge, LA, Christopher Brannon of Dadeville MO, and Les Wankel of Petersburg, IL. Usher for the groom was Christopher Calmes of St. Louis, MO. Out of town guests included the bride’s uncle Larry Wayne Aldridge of Troy, AL and the bride’s 1st cousin Courtney Aldridge Norris P.E. of Millbrook, AL.

The bride is a graduate of John F. Kennedy International High School in Berlin, Germany. She graduated from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, and from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana with a Masters of Science and a Ph.D. in monogastric nutrition, and is currently working at Washington University School of Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. The groom is a graduate of Dadeville High School in Dadeville, MO. He graduated with an Associates of Science degree at Fort Scott Community College, a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Science in swine nutrition from Kansas State University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Louisiana State University and currently works at International Ingredient Corporation in St. Louis, Missouri.
