Troy makes its first-ever trip to Oxford for a late-season matchup against SEC foe Ole Miss. The Rebels have gained national notoriety after putting together an impressive signing class. The team however hasn’t been lights out in 2013 but has put together a solid season.

Troy’s defense struggles to slow the balanced Ole Miss offensive attack early allowing the Rebels to jump out to a 14-0 first quarter lead.

A pair of Corey Robinson touchdown passes in the second quarter square the game up but Ole Miss is able to tack on a field goal late to take a 17-14 lead into the half.

Troy again goes toe-to-toe with a talented SEC opponent in the third quarter but surrenders a score and falls behind 24-14. After  another field goal, Troy trails heading into the fourth 27-14.

Robinson steals the show in the final frame connecting for another score to close the gap to 27-21 and give the Trojans a legit shot at winning the game.

Ole Miss steps on the gas and wears out the Trojans defense late and punches in another score to ice this one, 34-21.

Troy is 6-5 heading into the final game of the regular season.

RESULT: Troy LOSES, 34-21

STAT OF THE GAME: Corey Robinson 35-for-48, 389 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT.
