It’s been a rainy week in Pike County already, and it looks as if showers could continue to dampen summer plans through Sunday. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 40 percent chance of thunderstorms both Thursday and Friday and a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms on Saturday. Monday and Tuesday, afternoon and evening showers fell, causing canceled baseball practice in Troy and other minor inconveniences around the county. No major accidents or incidents of flooding were reported in Pike County due to rain as of deadline Wednesday.
